What is a Market Manager?

Market Manager work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They live and breathe T-Mobile! Job Description: 

  • Responsible for recruiting, development and retention for all team members within the district
  • Responsible for maintaining strong knowledge of products, accessories, pricing plans, and promotions
  • Ensure compliance with operational, sales and human resource policies
  • Operational excellence in the management of company assets; cash, inventory, and equipment.
  • Provide leadership, direction, council and encouragement to all team members
  • Take an active role in assisting team members with sales and identifying development opportunities
  • Conduct regular meetings with store managers to insure accountability towards district goals
  • Insure store action plans align with district objectives.
  • Obtain district sales goals by maximizing retail sales opportunities, customer prospecting, increasing traffic through outside activities while maintaining current customer base
  • Maintain a minimum of 100% of monthly district sales quota
  • Manage escalated customer service inquiries and maintain a high level of customer experience
  • Manage scheduling to optimize productivity and cost control
  • Insure stores represent the Sprint brand appropriately
  • Build a motivational culture that promotes a positive team-based environment, values recognition and drives performance.

  

Qualifications: 

  • College Degree Preferred
  • 4-5 years of successful retail sales experience in Consumer Electronics/Wireless or related industry
  • 2-3 Years management experience managing at minimum 3 direct reports
  • Business/Outside sales experience valuable
  • The ability to multi-task in a fast paced team environment is critical to success
  • Computer proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, and some Web based programs
  • Bi-Lingual in Spanish is a plus
  • Driving is required for company purposes and must possess a valid driver’s license 
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work 
  • 25% Travel Required

  • An extremely competitive compensation structure with base hourly pay, overtime pay and uncapped commission. Potential to earn $45,000 plus annually.
